On the occasion of his visit to UCLA Biomedical Library and MEDLARS Center, a special demonstration of MEDLINE was arranged for this writer. In this paper he analyses the demonstration's output examining in detail the functions of MEDLINE. Further the writer outlines the systems of SERLINE and CATLINE. And in the last chapter, he evaluates MEDLINE System from various viewpoints.
