日本の地名に関する参考図書の評価―内容による評価を中心としてEvaluation of reference books on Japanese geographical names: According to their performance in answering questions

Reference books on Japanese geographical names are evaluated according to their performance in answering specific reference questions. Twenty-nine books are examined, each answering thity-eight questions on Japanese geographical names. Other evaluation criteria are alse considered, so that each book is evaluated comprehensively. Based upon evaluation, general guidelines on building reference collections about Japanese geographical names are proposed.
