This is the continuation of Study of Children's Literature—Syllabus I which appeared in Library and Information Science No. 6, 1968.

Syllabus II has covered the subject of fantasy. In the history of children's literature the fantasy has been the largest and the most influencial genre both in traditional literature and modern creative writing. Therefore the author of the syllabus has used a due space for the subject and has covered its definition, general characteristics, lineage, pattern, and outstanding examples.
