学校図書館専門職員養成に望むViews from my experiences as a school librarian
発行日:1973年12月1日Published: December 1, 1973
A place of shisho-kyoyu, literal translation of which is a librarian-teacher, if more properly a teacher-librarian, has been very unstable in the educational system in Japan. The writer of this article points out from her experiences as a qualified school-librarian major problems that hinder desirable development of school libraries as a whole; namely a total lack of interests of teachers in library materials other than prescribed textbooks and a lack of understanding of administrator about the role of the school library as a learning resources center.
