The purpose of this paper is to clarify the process of scholars, publication actuvity by following their scholary productivity through their life. About 2 winners of the 1981 Nobel Prize for physics and chemistry, their career, publication records, type of publications, language in publications, and coauthorship are examined.
Main findings are as follows: (1) In both of physics and chemistry, their publications are mostly collaboration. And a high degree correlation between coauthorship and researh productivity are finded. But type of coauthorship are different in physics and chemistry. (2) Relation between the career and research productivity is finded in only chemistry. (3) In chemistry, journal article and patent are mainly used. And type of publications are different by coauthor group. In physics, most of publications are journal articles.
